Illustrative destination photos. Optional extras shown are not included unless listed below.
Rattray Marsh is a protected wetland on Mississauga's Lake Ontario shore, cared for by Credit Valley Conservation. We meet your group at Jack Darling Memorial Park and walk the raised boardwalks that let wildlife pass underneath.
The trails are short, easy and stroller friendly, with old-growth forest on Sheridan Creek Trail and a marsh lookout on the Knoll Trail. Herons, deer and foxes live here, though we can never promise a sighting.
Times and order are approximate and depend on traffic, weather and your group.
We meet at Jack Darling Memorial Park, 1180 Lakeshore Rd W, Mississauga, and email you the exact spot and start time. Parking is only in the park lot and pickup from Toronto is not included, so ask us if you need a ride.
The detailed plan is confirmed by email. The five trails themselves take about 65 minutes to walk.
Yes, the conservation area is free and open daily from after sunrise to before sunset.
Only in the Jack Darling Memorial Park lot, which also has washrooms. Street parking is not allowed.
The tour is private, but the marsh is a public area, so you may share trails with other visitors.
No. Herons, rabbits, beavers, deer and foxes live here, but sightings are never guaranteed.
There is no winter closure, but check park advisories first and take care, as boardwalks get slippery.
Dogs must be on a leash of six feet or less, and drones and alcohol are not allowed. Ask us whether pets can join the tour.
Pick your date and number of guests in the booking box and send the request. We check with our local partners and email you within 24 hours to confirm, with a secure payment link. You pay nothing until you approve it.
You can cancel up to 24 hours before the tour date; cancellations within 24 hours are not refunded. You pay only after you approve your quote, by secure online payment. Read the full policies.
All five trails are stroller friendly, and the Knoll Trail boardwalk was rebuilt to accessibility standards (about 2.0 m wide, max 6.9% grade). Wheelchair access and accessible vehicles are not addressed.
